Welcome to the New Website!!

I would like to welcome all of you, parents, alumni, fans, and students to our brand new website. We have redesigned the website to be very similar to the SCHSpace website.

I invite you to please join as a member and browse thru the site. Some of the new features are: Blogs, History, Forms, and Photos. I am excited about the Photos tab, anyone can post their own photos. So I invite all parents to share their photos online, they will go into your "page" and I will also be able to sort them and put them into special photo files. It will be a great feature. I also invite all alumni to post some "old" pictures of your wrestling days.

Check out the history tab. It took a lot of time to tabulate all of the history of Schuyler Wrestling. If you find a mistake please email me for any correction. I hope you enjoy the new website.

Thanks!!

A Season to Remember!

What a season. I am so proud of our young men that it is hard to put into words. It was an honor to coach these guys all season. I really think they were wrestling their best matches when it really counted. Our tough schedule all year prepared them for a successful finish. Here are some of the accomplishments that this team had this season: 9-1 dual record, York Invite Runner-up finish, North Bend Quad Champions, Gator Dual Runner-ups, East Butler Invite Champions, Conference Runner-ups, 8… Continue

Al's Angles After Day 1

I was as happy as a 1st grader with a new box of crayons on the first day of school. To see Schuyler qualify 8 wrestlers was just a pure joyful moment for me. I have watched and coached all of these kids at some point and I had to be as happy as their parents, but for some reason I was not at all nervous for these kids entering the first day of competition at the Nebraska State Wrestling Championships. I asked myself why, and the only reason that came to my mind was that I knew this bunch of

Warriors send 8 to the big dance!

The district tournament is always a tournament with the highest highs and lowest lows, and many times these come in the span of minutes. This year was no different. While we are very proud of our 8 qualifiers, we felt like we could have done a little better, but that will have to wait for next year. We feel like we are ready to compete at the Qwest and like our chances at a strong finish. We will be looking to improve on last years 7th place finish with the following qualifiers.
